Ek chotisi bat..

One small thing..!

Such a common and still ambiguous phrase ...”a small thing”
But each of those things has its own significance. Our life may not have lots of big celebration or big ups and downs every day, but we can make our day happening if we learn to live and enjoy those small things as well. Who knows, a small deed of us may make a day of somebody, may give a smile on somebody’s face. But do we really do it, though things are very small? In hectic busy routines, I fear, people might forget even to talk to other if it’s not related to their work or any gain. But imagine, on some nice morning, you wishing “Good morning “ to you doodhwala, or watchman.. or may be chatting for a while to you kamwali bai about her family or children.. or offering thanks after getting down from auto or taxi.. It is not something big deal, but still those gestures may make others feel nice. And still we avoid to do it..may be sheer ignorance or may be status issue..but those little things make big impact. Think how happy we used to be when our teachers, parents pat our back. Or remember how great the day is when we get some word of appreciation. It is just a few words but those are very precious for us..What we give to others may seem very little to us, but to someone it may mean a lot..

But again, to do something for others is something farther thing; here we don’t have time to talk well in our family and friends too. A simple “Hi, how r u“keep the feeling that friends are remembered, together..but we just forget it..We call them or rather conveniently just sms them only on friendship day or on their birthday..! and those are our friends with whom we have grown up, at a time shared each & every secret with them…but now no time..We run along with time, eat when get free from work, talk for hours on office calls and clients, travel from distant place for money and finally when return to our sweet home, sleep like dead..Even in one family, parents give message to children on tables; children might get to talk with mom-dad on weekends, and if it’s a join family for a change (!), grandparents keep waiting whole day to meet their son daughter, grandchildren ….but their wait continues on next day as well.. Thing is we take all efforts, work hard like machine, earn money for our family..Then why it needs some extra efforts to find some time for them? Can’t we find at least half an hour for our parents? We might need to adjust our routine but don’t they deserve at least that? It may be a small or big thing, may have different perspective, but it definitely keeps us bonded. Else children might be at US or Mumbai, they remain same at distance from parents…

This all is the stuff which is very small and obvious to do but we consider it big and avoid it..Sometime it is totally opposite..Issues might be very critical and sensitive but we treat those as usual thing.. See at our politician and ministers.. How they treating their people, nation and security.. Country and her citizens are the least important anyway...what matters is money and power.. ! Another guys of a same kind is our celebrities.. Money and fame and bas hogaya..! It’s very convenient to forget who give that both.. Ideally whatever they suppose to do all become an optional work, after they gain their profit..! Even we, citizen of Republic India who celebrated its 60th birthday...we conveniently forget what is our national song, feel very shy to sing our anthem (Ohh..but to sing it should be remembered correctly!!), very proudly say – “pledge..ohooo..We used to take it daily in school..’India is my country…’ right?? Now it’s been so long time you know..! How can one’s memory be so strong ...” such a attitude by most of us..Simply no comment on this..

Really a small thing..but giving numerous thoughts now..Sometimes mistakenly a small thing is considered a big, leading us to in worries..And sometimes a really major issue, we count wrongly as small and lead other in worries. :)
We take tension of stupid problems and make things worse..And otherwise ignore the things, person who actually matter a lot to us..That’s called life..!

Nway..bye for now..cya next time..

Happy teachers day..! (Belated..!)

Happy teachers day..!

Whenever i heard about this, it reminds me of my school, my teachers, friends, classrooms and that sweet time of childhood..
It used to be such a special day for us in school.. we used to gift roses, flowers to teachers and received chocolates in back.. :) used to take their "ashirwad"..and in later part of the day, our seniors used to come to teach us.. the only day when they can mimic teachers officially :) and teachers also love to see theirs clads teaching the classes..and we went to 10th it was our turn to take the classes.. :) i really miss those days..
The entire time of schooling is such sweet memories for everybody..for lifetime..
I still remember those days right from my Jr KG..my 1st mam, 1st school friend - we are still very good friends :) , school bus, those small fights for getting window in bus, my classroom, classmates.. sharing all small stuff with teachers, getting punishments for talking during the class and then our unity against monitors, those tremendous patience for lunch break and PT class, that enthu in whole school during ganpati utsav ..everything is just unforgettable..! even now when we meet our teachers, it is always a time to get nostalgic..
As we went to higher classes study grew, competition between us increases, but our friendship also got stronger..and now after growing up, after having experience of outside world, we realize that was such a sweet innocent time..such a tender friendship.. it was always such a peaceful place for us..it was a time when we had friends but not for any reason, we used to have competition but no politics..we used to have fights but no grudge..fights used to get over along with lectures :) kash the same can be applied now even..

It would be so nice if i can build 1 time machine and go back in that school time..i would love to start it again from Jr KG, with same friends and same teachers.. or atleast when we need some booster we should have the ability to revisit those pages of memories..!!
And it is our luck to have such memories to cherish for lifetime..now when i visit our school and teachers and see those kids playing around or studying in class, chitchatting in group..i really envy them..:)
we never tell it specifically but yes, i do miss our school, teachers and all of my friends..and am sure all of them feel the same..

PS : Its obviously a very nice "muhurt" to start blogging again.. :) cya soon..!!

A disaster seems to be over...But what next..??

Once again Mumbai has faced the longest, deadliest form of cruelty. After 60 hours of mayhem terrorists are killed, but has the terror over? Hundreds of people, including guests, businessmen, NRIs, foreigners, commuters, hotel and hospital staff, our police, and commandos all died. Terrorism spares no caste, age, colour or position. In the very hour of warlike situation we all were undergoing the same tension, fear, having same questions: when will it end? How long body count will keep on increasing? When our politicians will take it seriously? While working, eating, travelling, before sleeping, we were just thinking about the updates from Taj , oberoi, worried about the hostages and our forces, and had sheer anger of the politicians so called caretaker of our country. But thanks to our commandos, fire brigade, NSG, who dedicated their lives and fought over 2 days and 3 nights to save Mumbai. Our brave forces have killed those butchers. Carnage was over finally but many things should start now. We must decide what needs to do now.

Almost every year 2-3 times India is facing terrorist attack over metro cities, hundreds of people getting killed. They are trying to be successful in spreading terror in our mind. But what steps have been taken so far? Why do our intelligence systems fail to have any clue of such a major assault? And even if these systems or people give some warnings why those are still ignored? Just setting up new committees, panels will solve the problems? Why can’t these politicians use ever increasing tax, collected from us, to provide better security measures instead of spending it for their own security guards? In such a major city we don’t have enough force, trained commandos to face such crisis. Police got killed due to lack of bulletproof jackets, up to date arms to fight with techno savvy terrorists. Our sea borders are still not protected. Anybody, along with ammunition, RDX can enter the financial capital of India. Even before 1993 blast, terrorists have entered here in same way. But still our police, ministers have not woke up. Even after 15 years, terrorist are welcome on same shore of Mumbai. When is this going to end? And even in such a chaos what are doing our ministers? They are either resigning from the post instead of taking strong decision or starting blame game, or making any childish comment, or visiting the disaster plots like a picnic. Hope they won't start terror place tourism now..And in current scenario, with these pathetic politicians, what difference will it make to us or those terrorists, even if somebody else replaces the existing CM, or other ministers? They are such boneless that even after having enough proof, none of our minister can mutter the name who is behind this attack. Why can’t they take any international press conference, and present the proofs they have along with the confession of detained terrorist? Why can’t they pressurize the enemy to hand over the mastermind behind these attacks? But this all need guts. There is no worse agony than having such shameless people to lead the nation. They have no sight beyond their votebanks. In the lure of votes they forget their duties. Even after such havoc, we afraid to expect that they would become mature, respect their position and think about the people.

But in the same way even a common man must understand that any of his deed, may be it is unintentional, should not help such anti-humanity people. At least at our own level we can stop corruption. But no, it has become a lingering disease in Indians. How come these terrorists can stay in 5 star hotels over 8 months? How can they store 40 kg RDX in hotel room itself? How can they posses ID cards of an Indian institute? If we try to find out answers, it will somewhere strike to corruption surely. Though the assault is by external slayers, it would not have been possible without help of our own people.

Politicians, untouched in this massacre, are now visiting the people who got injured or lost their loved ones, showing their superficial sympathy, asking to stay calm, appreciating the famed spirit of Mumbai to bounce back. Before doing all these, at least once they should stand in the shoes of those people, whose husband, wife, parents, children or friends are killed in this disaster. How long we would bare it? Is it really the time to stay calm or to unite and fight against our internal and external enemies? Our spirit must become our strength. Instead of blaming the system we should enter into it and try to break the shackles around us. Now power is with them who don’t deserve it. We should strive to give it to those who can use it as weapon against any threat to the nation. We have to find the leader who love and care for the country. Though we may return to our daily life very soon, the grief of such carnage, memories of those innocent people who got killed mercilessly, of our soldiers who dedicate their life for us will always be alive in us. And that only will inspire us to stand up to secure our beloved India and Indians.

I salute our brave jawan, police who fought till end, even got 'shaheed' for us..! And my sincere condolence to the people who have lost their beloved..
And at least for sake of all these people, for sake of a life of every Indian, we have to start with a new beginning...!!

माझी पहिली कविता

Hi friends..

This was my first ever marathi poem..i have written this long back in college days..but posting it here now..luckily could find marathi font also..never tried this before..so hope script doesnt conatin any mistake..
